TASTING NAPA
Napa Valley, CA
"This was a completely spontaneous shot.
I was doing a wine tasting in Napa with my
best friend from NY. We were sitting in two
adirondack chairs overlooking the vineyards.
They had just poured me a Pinot Noir to taste.
I swirled my glass, sniffed the wine, tasted it,
and then I held the glass up to the light to see
the color and density of the wine.
This scene was what I saw.
Luckily, I had my camera at my side.
As you could imagine, I immediately lifted
my camera and took this photograph.
It was truly a 'seize the moment'
